Teleworking is the activity of working from home while maintaining contact with your office by email, telephone, or video calls. Around the world, about 20 per cent of workers telework frequently and about 1 in 10 do so every day. For companies, the benefits are reduced costs, while for workers the advantage is they can spend more time with their families or doing leisure activities, rather than commuting.
